Job Responsibilities:

• Take full activity charge from the previous shift operator.
• In shift A, make down time sheet and weight graph of each machine/batch for the day.
• Check and maintain Gel level of Dip bath/Transfer tank and functioning of level controller.
• Take 20 Cap and Body weight of each machine and record. If found out of specification, perform corrective action under the guidance of a supervisor and record it in the weight graph. Repeat activity every hour in each machine in the shift.
• Check viscosity and temperature of each station hourly and record in the weight graph. If out of specification, take corrective action under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Maintain the water level of the Dip bath circulating tank during the shift.
• Check Dome/Length/Joining length of each machine twice in a shift and record. If found out of specification, take corrective action under the guidance of a supervisor.
• On the basis of the IPQC report, do numbering on the pin bar to identify defects and eliminate them under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Note down each hood/Dew point AH11/AH03 temperature in the temperature logbook if the range needs correction or inform the supervisor.
• When the capsule collection drum is filled, allot the next serial number, perform aeration as per SOP, and note the aeration start and completion times on the drum card. Take the weight of the produced drum and record it in the drum card and capsule production record. Move capsules to the PP Box and shift the box to the quarantine area.
• During color changes, remove the Dip Bath/Viscometer element for cleaning and reinsert it after cleaning. Perform line clearance as per SOP in the presence of the CA.
• Timely inform the Gel room for the next tank requirement.
• Handle mechanical tripping that occurs in the machine and note down the time in the downtime record.
• Perform timely cleaning of the online vibrator sorter for smooth functioning.
• Replace feed tank silicon pipe during blockage due to machine stoppage.
• Change greaser/blade/stripper as per schedule.
• At the end of the shift, note down capsule production of each machine in the DT sheet and production record.
• Write down the shift report in the register.

Skills Required: Good English verbal communication, good hand on MS Office.
